Polyester insulation is a thermal bonded insulation material used for domestic and commercial insulation applications. Greenstuf polyester is made from 100% polyester fibre. There are no additives or other components used in the manufacturing process.
Polyester insulation is non -irritant, odourless, non toxic, fire safe, non allergenic and water resistant. POLYESTER INSULATION is dust free with no respiratable fibres and is an ideal insulation choice for health conscious consumers

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT POLYESTER INSULATION
- ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE: Greenstuf polyester insulation will perform as an acoustic material in a construction system, by providing a sound absorbing factor in the construction cavity. Typical improvement in sound transmission (STC) through a wall is 6-8 points on stc of the construction system without insulation eg: STC 35 +6 = 41 STC
- CORROSIVENESS: When tested in accordance with NZ 4222, Greenstuf polyester is classified as non -corrosive. The pH IS 7.8 (7 is neutral)
- COMPOSITION: Organic, long chain synthetic polymer. carbon-hydrogen oxygen.
MAX SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 160C
